Would you like to teach history, government, geography, or other areas of social studies? Cedarville’s distinctly Christian, accredited adolescent and young adult (AYA) social studies education major will train you to teach social studies for grades 7–12 in Christian or public schools. You'll experience a quality education taught from a biblical worldview by committed and thoughtful Christians with extensive experience and expertise.
Through theological grounding,

Serving Refugees at International Family Night
Students from Cedarville University are serving refugees in the Dayton area through International Family Night (IFN), a monthly event held at Beavercreek Christian Church. In this program, the students build relationships by playing board games, sharing meals, studying the Bible and providing academic tutoring. -
Cedarville Students Make an Impact in International Christian Schools
Living in a foreign country might sound like an unrealistic dream for many, but for eight Cedarville University seniors, it’s the reality of their final semester. The students will complete their education degree while student teaching in international classrooms from Nepal to the Dominican Republic.
