
Sociology Minor
About the Sociology Minor
A sociology minor allows you to complement your chosen major with a background in sociology. Your courses will include the study of the structure and processes of social life and will give you an overview of sociology. You may choose electives from a variety of courses, such as Juvenile Delinquency, Concepts of Chemical Dependency, Family and Society, Urban Sociology, and Social Movements. This minor must be combined with a major (in any field) in order to graduate with your bachelor’s degree and be fully prepared for your chosen career path.
