We have numerous opportunities for students to acquire real-life experiences.
Debate Team
The Cedarville University Debate Team competes with colleges and universities across the United States through the NPDA (National Parliamentary Debate Association), which is the largest debate organization in the country. Students who plan on pursuing careers in ministry, law, education, business, or politics are encouraged to join the team. A Debate Scholarship is available.

Forensics
Forensics is an intercollegiate competition. Students compete in areas such as public speaking, oral interpretations, limited preparation events, and Lincoln-Douglas debate. A Forensics Scholarship is available.

SHRM
The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) is for students in organizational communication and human resources. Students involved develop their own human resource management programming and activities and attend other professional human resource meetings and conferences.

Lambda Pi Eta
Lamda Pi Eta is the National Communication Honor Society for undergraduate students. It recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement. In addition, Lamda Pi Eta promotes and encourages professional development among majors, while providing an opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas in the field of communication.

Resound Radio
Resound Radio features a 24/7 stream that can be heard exclusively through CedarNet (Cedarville's campus computer network) and, in addition, offers on-demand programming targeted specifically at the student body of Cedarville University.
Cedars
Cedars is a student-produced newspaper that is published several times each academic year.
