Meet our Faculty and Staff
The faculty of the History and Government department are committed to more than just scholarship and teaching. They could do that at any institution. They are at Cedarville because they want the opportunity to teach in an environment where they can be overt about their faith and can minister to students as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our faculty have a wealth of education and professional experience. Each member of the department has at least one graduate degree. Of the 13 department faculty, 11 have PhDs, one has JD, and the final faculty member is in the process of pursuing his doctorate. One faculty member has 25 years of service in the United States Diplomatic Corps, one has two decades of city management experience, one has two decades of law enforcement and police administration, and one worked for the Ohio State Supreme Court. A number of the faculty have worked or volunteered in campaigns and for elected officials, several have seminary training, and one played professional soccer. Regardless of their qualifications and experience, this faculty’s most outstanding characteristic is their desire to see you become all that God wants you to be.
