Why Cedarville?

God led me to Cedarville when my husband was hired as an English professor. As a public children's librarian, I wasn't planning to make the move to the academic realm, but Library Dean Lynn Brock convinced me to give it a try. I found that I enjoyed working with faculty and students to build Cedarville's collection of print and electronic resources. God also provided me with many opportunities to work with students who were thinking about becoming librarians. Over time, those informal mentoring relationships transformed into the Library Careers Program, including teaching library internship and independent study courses and creating the annual Library Careers Dinner.
