Biography

Mrs. Bede maintains a large studio of piano students in the Dayton area, teaching private as well as group classes, including Suzuki and traditional methods, to students ranging from ages 4 through adult. In addition to her work as church organist at Fairmont Presbyterian Church in Kettering, she serves as accompanist for numerous soloists as well as being an active performer in the Dayton Music Club. She is active in numerous professional organizations and formerly served as Ohio MTA State President. She is also an active adjudicator for the NFMC and MTNA. She won the Ohio MTA State Teacher of the Year award in 2002. She has been at Cedarville since 2005.
