Women's Choir

A select, auditioned choir composed of fifty women representing a variety of academic majors, the Cedarville University Women’s Choir performs high-quality, challenging classical and contemporary choral literature. Committed to musical and spiritual excellence, the Women’s Choir, under the direction of Department Chair and Associate Professor Beth Cram Porter, meets three hours a week for demanding rehearsals where worship and academics beautifully coexist. The Women’s Choir has been invited to perform at the Ohio Music Educator’s Professional development Conference and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Annual tours have taken the choir to North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. The choir has been praised for their musically excellent and worshipful programs.
