One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Biography

If I were a CU student... I would share the biblical worldview I am being transformed by (whether that’s through time in chapel, conversations with professors, involvement in student organizations, etc.) with others! One of the most beautiful pictures we have in Scripture is the kingdom of God and how God uses His people as instruments to multiply it. As we can praise the Lord that the kingdom is not a zero-sum game between all of us, we can go to our neighbors NOW and share the Light and hope in everything. Through the grace of God, Cedarville seeks to prepare students to go out to the world and more confidently be Christ’s ambassadors in any vocation; that time of living as a wellspring for His glory should not wait till then. Share that JOY with your family, friends, and everyone else.

What is the best restaurant in the area? If you are even the least bit like me and can practically inhale guacamole, queso, and anything else taco-worthy, consider grabbing some friends and carpooling out to Condado Tacos in the Greene.

What sets CU apart from other colleges and universities? Even though I attended another university for my undergraduate education, it didn’t take long after stepping on campus to recognize how unified the entire Cedarville family is and how it strives to pursue glorifying Christ alone. I think it is a common misconception that it will simply “be easier” to follow Christ at a Christian university in contrast to a secular one. While that may be valid in some ways, Cedarville is not naive enough to forget that the devil still prowls around like a lion. Faculty, staff, and students are unashamedly intentional to fight the good fight of faith together. As a result, the Lord empowers us to build disciples who find delight and hope in looking to eternity, rather than the false and idle pursuits of this world.
