Tom Mahairas was born Anastasios Mahairas, September 22, 1949, in Thessaloniki, Greece. He immigrated to New York City when he was 8 years old. Tom has an amazing story of God's grace and love as lived in New York City through the rock-n-roll and hippie eras. Tom was converted through the ministries of Word of Life, and went on to attend and graduate from the Institute of Christian Service at Bob Jones University. He is the founder of Manhattan Christian Academy, Transformation Life Center, New York Gospel Outreach, Manhattan Love Kitchen, and CitiVision ministries. Tom also serves as President of Citivision ministries, an organization whose mission is to make, motivate and equip disciples to impact their cities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Tom and his wife, Vicky, live in New York City, have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
