Selection and Nomination Process:
Step 1: Nomination
To be considered for Music Showcase, students must be nominated by their band, choir, or orchestra director or by a private music teacher. Nominate students online or print a copy of the form.
Nomination deadline: Friday, November 11, 2022
Step 2: Selection
Cedarville music faculty members will review all nomination forms and select students for the honor groups. Selections are based upon each musician’s abilities and accomplishments as well as the musical needs of the honor groups. Those selected for the Honor Band will be required to submit a chair placement video before sheet music is emailed to directors and/or students. Instructions for the chair placement videos will be sent via email to both directors and students. During the week of December 12–16, 2022, we will email acceptance letters to directors and/or students along with links to download sheet music.
