What is a campaign? A campaign is any project or initiative that will require more than one service to implement successfully. This could range from the development of a full marketing plan to a postcard mailing with a dedicated landing page or a new eNewsletter that needs a banner.


The Division provides oversight of the University’s brand image. While this primarily revolves around logos, colors, fonts, taglines, and guidelines for writing, it also includes maintaining a consistent image of personality and culture.

Request your business cards via our online ordering system. All orders placed will be submitted to print within two business days and shipped to the University post office within seven business days of placing your order.

Graphic designers produce print and digital pieces such as brochures, postcards, T-shirts, posters, web banners, and PowerPoint slides. to promote University events, programs, and services. Submit a Creative Service Request and select the type of project you would like to begin.

Standard university name badges may be ordered through the creative services office through a convenient online ordering system.

Photography services are provided both in a controlled studio environment as well as on location for portraits, events, and general marketing. Submit a Photography Service Request to coordinate a photo shoot.

In an effort to keep production costs low, all print projects are quoted to multiple vendors, including Postal and Print Services. Communication regarding deadlines and deliveries are handled by the Creative Services team. Invoices are verified and sent to the responsible department for payment. Refer to Print Vendor Resources to learn how to be considered as a print vendor.

All design and web projects managed by Marketing are proofed and edited based on University guidelines for writing and style. Letters and other University communication may be emailed to the Copy Editor for review. Most proofing is completed within one–two business days.

Using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and SnapChat, we tell the Cedarville story through video, photography, and messages. The Public Relations department develops and implements communication plans for all official University social media channels. Video services are available for projects related to external marketing projects. Due to limited resources not all video project requests can be granted. Video project requests are granted based on audience, availability of resources, value added to the University, and scope of the project. Contact the Creative Director to discuss all video requests.

The Marketing and Communications division provides strategic oversight to the University’s web presence recognizing its role as the “front door” for future students, parents, and other constituencies. Get started with a new or redesigned site by submitting a Web Service Request.

Writing services are available to support your communication goals. Staff will come alongside you to identify target audience, communication goals, and key messages, then develop copy for client review and approval.
