Deeper “How do Christians grow? In this book, Dane Ortlund points believers to Christ, making the case that sanctification does not happen by doing more or becoming better, but by going deeper into the wondrous gospel truths that washed over them when they were first united to him.”

1 Peter “Here is a letter written to churches like ours, about a time such as ours. Peter’s first letter is one we need to read, treasure and believe in our day, because the post-Christian societies many of us live in now are very much like the pre-Christian society in which Peter’s first-century readers lived then. Here is a letter for today.”
Discipleship Council Contact: Drew Staats
Group Leaders: Kyle Eliasen, Reese Filpus, Josh McClain, Nathan Angstadt, Quin Machado, Lincoln Huffman, Ben Lammoreaux, Jeremy Lun, Isaiah Marvin
God is the Gospel “The book is a plea that God himself, as revealed most clearly and fully in Jesus’ death and resurrection, be seen and enjoyed as the final and greatest gift of the gospel. All God’s good gifts are loving to the degree that they lead us to God himself. This is the love of God: doing everything necessary, most painfully in the death of his Son, to enthrall us with what is most deeply and durably satisfying-namely, himself.”
Discipleship Council Contact: Jerry Baum
Group Leaders: Luke Manring, Mickey Neal, Stephen Chow, Drew Williams, Caleb Veinotte, Spencer Benefiel, Silas Ogren, Jacob Hubred, Luke Deberny, Alex Heinrich
Awe “Our hearts are always captured by something-that’s how God made us. But sin threatens to distract us from the glory of our Creator. All too often, we stand in awe of everything but God. Uncovering the lies we believe about all the earthly things that promise us peace, life and contentment. Paul Tripp redirects our gaze to God’s awe-inducing glory—showing how such a vision has the potential to impact our every thought, word and deed.”
Discipleship Council Contact: Lucas Kimball
Group Leaders: Granite Lesko, Sam Marshall, Micah Spaulding, Jonathan Revell, Marcus Hernandez, Ben Kinsinger, Braden Coffey, David Pride

Galatians “The book of Galatians is an explosion of joy and freedom which leaves us enjoying a deep significance, security and satisfaction-the life of blessing God calls his people to. Why? Because it brings us face to face with the gospel. It’s very common in Christian circles to assume that “the gospel” is something mainly for non-Christians. We see it as a set of basic ‘ABC’s’ doctrines that are the way in which someone enters the kingdom of God. But in this short letter Paul outlines the truth that the gospel is the A to Z of the Christian life. It is not only the way to enter the kingdom. It is the way Christ transforms people, churches and communities.”
