Board Member, Cedarville Alumnus to Speak at Chapel

Dr. Corey Abney, lead pastor at Florence Baptist Church at Mount Zion in Florence, Kentucky, will serve as the guest speaker at Cedarville University’s chapel service on Tuesday, Sept. 8.  

Abney, who serves on the board of trustees at Cedarville University and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, is a member of the leadership council for the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. He is a contributor to the book “The New Answers Book, Vol. 4” of the popular Answers in Genesis series.

A 1998 graduate of Cedarville, Abney earned both his master’s and doctorate degrees at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  He and his family reside in northern Kentucky.
