The presidential election is one year away but that doesn't stop political experts like Dr. Kevin Sims, professor of political science, from being asked by local media his professional views on presidential debates.
That's exactly what Dr. Sims provided for WDTN TV a day after the most recent presidential debate. In the interview, Sims tells anchor Katie Ussin that Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were the big winners from the CNBC debate.

Sims has taught political science since 1990 after a long tenure at Pillsbury Baptist College in Minnesota and Azusa Pacific University in California. Dr. Sims earned his doctoral degree in government from Claremont Graduate School.
