Dr. R. Albert MohlerAl Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) in Louisville, Kentucky, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Wednesday, March 27. Chapel begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.

In addition to his duties at SBTS, Mohler hosts two podcast programs: “The Briefing” and “Thinking in the Public.” “The Briefing” is a daily Christian analysis of news and events. “Thinking in the Public” is a series of Mohler’s conversations with leading thinkers of the day.

Mohler has been quoted in numerous newspapers, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post and The Atlanta Journal. Mohler has also appeared on numerous news programs, including ABC’s “Good Morning America,” CNN’s “Larry King Live” and “AC360,” NBC’s “Today Show” and “Dateline NBC” and Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Mohler has contributed to more than 100 published works as an author or editor. Mohler was previously the associate editor of Preaching, a journal for evangelical preachers, and is currently editor-in-chief of The Southern Baptist Journal of Theology.

He currently serves as chairman of the Southern Baptist Convention's Council of Seminary Presidents and is a member of the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, a council member for The Gospel Coalition and a teaching fellow for Ligonier Ministries. Mohler is also the co-founder of Together for the Gospel. Mohler is a former board member for Focus on the Family.
