August 5, 2024 — The Ohio National Guard will offer GuardCare, a readiness training program, to assist medically under-served communities on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Greene County Career Center. Pharmacist is Fighting to End Pharmacy Deserts
July 24, 2024 — Many Americans enjoy the services and convenience of the local pharmacies that fill their prescriptions and meet their medical needs, but the future abundance of pharmacies is unclear. In fact, “pharmacy deserts,” which are large areas with no pharmacy for communities to access, are becoming an increasing threat to public health. In an answer to this threat, Dr. Emmanuel Ayanjoke chose to pursue pharmacy ownership after completing his pharmacy fellowship in Cedarville University’s School of Pharmacy.

Groundbreaking Christian Thriller Releasing Nationally on July 17
July 17, 2024 — “Disciples in the Moonlight,” a faith-based action thriller that will be released in movie theaters nationwide on Wednesday, July 17, is breaking new ground in the Christian movie industry. The movie is a rare faith-based action thriller set in a dystopian future where the Bible has been banned in the United States for its offensiveness. The story was written by Josh Strychalski, a 1999 Cedarville University graduate who majored in broadcast communication.
Pharmacy Students Impact the Community in Guatemala
July 15, 2024 — Students at Cedarville University spend approximately 1000 Days during their four years on campus. During this period, Dr. Thomas White, president, encourages each student to participate in a mission trip. Based on the feedback from other pharmacy students who had served in Guatemala on previous mission opportunities, Thomas Bonifield, a second-year pharmacy student, agreed to serve at a free, four-day clinic in Los Dolores, Guatemala. This experience transformed his perspective on medical care and spreading the gospel.

July 12, 2024 — How long would it take to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands near Africa to Antigua in the Caribbean Sea? “Team Foar Brothers,” including Cedarville alumni Thomas '05, Trent '02, and Tim Hamilton along with their nephew, Ben Clark, did it in 37 days, 10 hours, and 55 minutes.
New Financial Planning Minor Opens Opportunities Through Competency and Character
July 10, 2024 — Cedarville University approved a new financial planning minor that will allow students to specialize and develop both competency and a character of integrity in their field. The new minor is available to any student. "We want to prepare students to not only think biblically but develop core competencies in the financial planning field. We want to prepare students who possess the character and professional aptitude to fulfill this need in society,” said Dr. John Tarwater, professor of finance.
College Student's Book Translation Launches Global Venture
July 8, 2024 — Success begins with great ideas. Dr. Kary Oberbrunner, Berry Chair and assistant professor of entrepreneurship at Cedarville University, encourages his students to generate, pitch and pursue ideas. Gladys Cerrato, a senior marketing major, responded by proposing the translation of Oberbrunner’s book, “Day Job to Dream Job,” into Spanish to expand his international influence.
