Fall break for college students is typically a time of rest and relaxation amid a busy semester. But for one group of Cedarville University students, fall break meant exactly the opposite, as they traveled to Florida to serve locals impacted by Hurricane Ian.

For Nancy Voorhies, it has always been about people. No matter where she was or what she was doing, people were her priority, although she could have never foreseen how exactly this love of people would play out in her life.

The Christmas season at Cedarville University is full of celebration and tradition. A newer tradition held by the university -- the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony -- is an event cherished by the Cedarville community.

In 2011, the Cedarville University School of Nursing (SON) welcomed its first Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) cohort of approximately 20 students. Just 11 years later, we welcomed 168 new and returning students.

More than 40 years ago, God placed a desire to start a Christian nursing program in the hearts and minds of Cedarville University Leadership.
