Pharmacy Professor Awarded for Research
Dr. Aleda Chen, associate dean of the school of pharmacy at Cedarville University, was awarded the 2024 Rufus A. Lyman Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). This honor recognizes Chen’s 2023 research paper that was named the best published paper by the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE).

Team Ready for Liftoff at NASA Student Launch Competition
Liftoff! After nine months of rigorous building and testing, Cedarville University’s Rocket Team will launch its full-scale rocket prototype at the NASA Student Launch competition on April 10-14 in Huntsville, Alabama. The NASA Student Launch provides middle school, high school and college and university students from across the nation with the opportunity to design, build, test and launch vehicle and payload components that support the Space Launch System and Artemis missions.

Running With Passion and Purpose
God’s plan for the journey is often unexpected, and this is certainly true for Cedarville University junior Aaron Perry. Having played soccer for more than a decade, Aaron learned to equate running with discipline. Poor performance on the field or in practice meant running laps, sprints, or stairs. Yet after participating in a marathon during his senior year in high school, running changed for Aaron — from punishment to passion.

The run is sponsored by the Ohio River Road Runners Club.
