Costco Pharmacy Scholar Program

Application deadline on March 15, 2007

Eligibility Requirements

Students must:

  • be pursuing a degree in Pharmacy
  • come from an Hispanic background
  • be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • demonstrate financial need
  • have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • have completed one-year of pharmacy school or are in their second year into their pharmacy education

Students Selected Will Benefit from:

  • A multi-year scholarship, up to $9,500 to cover tuition, books and fees, through their education
  • Direct access to HCF and Costco mentors
  • Working at a Costco Pharmacy for at least one year
  • A large national cohort of Hispanic Costco Students
  • $500 dollars towards their licensure exam
  • Apply to win a trip to the nations capitol, Washington DC:
    • Have a chance to network with influential leaders and executives
    • Learn career skills through workshops and mentoring
    • Attend the Annual Hispanic College Fund Gala
  • Membership in the HCF Online Community, HCF Connections which includes:
    • Exclusive access to job and internship posting
    • Mentorship program
    • Online chats, profiles and posting from over 3,000 HCF alumni
