Irma M. Dodson Award
Established in 1982 by Irma M. Dodson, who served in the field of education for 50 years, this scholarship is granted to a full-time senior elementary education major with a 3.5 GPA or above. Recipients must demonstrate consistent and outstanding ability in daily preparation and teaching excellence during their classroom, field, and student teaching experiences. They must also be involved in Christian service, displaying leadership qualities. Recipients of this award are selected by the Education Department faculty.
