L. Bert Frye Geology Award

Established in 2009 by John and Jamie '04 (Case) Whitmore, this annually funded scholarship was created to assist outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional skill in research and publication in the field of geology. Recipients must be pursuing a degree in geology, have at least one semester of study remaining in their program, have a cumulative grade average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate exceptional skill in research and publication potential in the field of geology. The Geology Faculty selects the recipients.
