Rhode Island Programs
The Rhode Island State Grant is a need-based award designed for students whose family resources are not sufficient to meet the cost of higher education. The grant can be used at eligible schools in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The awards range from $250 - $700 depending on the recipient’s financial need.
Criteria:
The FAFSA is the application for this Rhode Island need-based grant. To be considered for this state grant, the student must complete the FAFSA by March 1, 2012 (the Rhode Island deadline for completing the FAFSA).
