Women for Scholarship

This annually funded scholarship was established in 2009 by the Women for Scholarship, a volunteer organization which seeks to raise scholarship funding to support Cedarville University students. Recipients must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in any academic program. The scholarship will benefit annually one freshman, one sophomore, one junior, and one senior. The selection committee will select an incoming freshman annually. If the recipient continues to meet the scholarship criteria, the scholarship may be renewed for up to three additional years, benefiting the recipient a total of four years. In the first year, recipients must demonstrate financial need. However, financial need will not be a consideration for renewal for the scholarship in subsequent years. Incoming freshman candidates must have a minimum ACT score of 23 (or the SAT equivalent) to qualify.
