Cedarville’s distinctly Christian allied health major will prepare you for graduate school programs in physical therapy, physician assistant, occupational therapy, and other allied health fields. Opportunities for Allied Health Majors

Observation Hours — You will have opportunity for a variety of clinical experiences throughout your four years of undergraduate education, with the most important experience being at least 40 hours in an acute care environment. We encourage you to strive for approximately 100 hours of clinical observation.

Allied Health Student Organization (AHSO) — The goal of this student organization is to:

  • Enhance allied health majors’ understanding of the professions they aspire to enter.
  • Promote scholarship, fellowship, and spiritual growth among students majoring in Allied Health.
  • Encourage and prepare students to maintain their Christian walk as they enter rigorous programs of study in the healthcare fields.
  • Facilitate opportunities for communication of allied health students with practicing clinicians in allied health professions.
