Cedarville University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.

Jazz Band 

The 20 member Jazz Band is one of the most popular ensembles on campus. Started in 1989 by Professors Charles Pagnard and Michael DiCuirci, the group has had a storied history. They have played at the prestigious Elmhurst Jazz Festival and The Capital University Jazz Festival. They have traveled to New York City, Chicago and Memphis. They play only the finest big band charts that span from the Big Band Era to present day. Guest artists have included: John Harner, Dave Boyer, Hal Melia, and Pat Harbison. The Jazz Band is a busy organization which plays about eight dates a semester.
