
Concert Chorale
Cedarville University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.

The Concert Chorale is comprised of 42 undergraduate singers. Through the years they have produced two recordings and premiered several larger works. They have performed extensively throughout the eastern half of the United states and their eleven international tours have included the Czech Republic, Austria, Puerto Rico, England, France, Switzerland, Ireland, China, Thailand, Mexico, Poland and Scotland. For churches and schools, the Chorale's varied repertoire includes choral masterpieces, sacred anthems, spirituals, and contemporary praise selections designed for collaborative worship. Over the past nine years, the Chorale has also performed Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Haydn's Creation, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Faure's Requiem, Mozart's Vespers, Poulenc's Gloria, Brahms' German Requiem and Handel's Messiah. The Chorale includes an eight-voice group known as the Vocal Arts Ensemble as well as numerous vocal and instrumental soloists. Singing the gamut of musical styles, the Concert Chorale aspires to "Sing forth the honor of His name; make His praise glorious" (Ps. 66:2).
