Admission Requirements
Begin Your Application »Admission to the Master of Arts in Innovation (MAI) program requires meeting the University's general admission criteria, application requirements, and the following:
- Evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Meet all program prerequisites. Applicants not meeting program prerequisites or admission standards may be considered for conditional admission to the program. See info below under “Prerequisite Courses.”
- Official transcripts confirming a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited or otherwise approved institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- Conditional acceptance may be offered in certain circumstances where the overall GPA is at least a 2.0. Specific conditions will be decided by the Master of Arts Admissions Committee.
- Completion of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) may be required for those with a grade point average below 2.75. Some exceptions are made on an individual basis. The GRE is an acceptable alternative.
- Computer proficiency and ability to take courses in an online environment.
- One professional or academic reference (faculty member or supervisor) and one Christian character reference (pastoral or mentor). Family members and personal friends are not eligible to serve as references.

- Christian leader and professional recommendations — Provide an email address for each recommender as part of your application, and we will automatically forward them a link to complete a brief online recommendation form.

Prerequisite Courses
There are no prerequisite courses required to enroll in the MA in innovation degree. One class BUS 6100 - Managerial Data Analysis, which is part of the Business Analytics concentration, requires completion of a prior statistics course. Contact your enrollment advisor for options on how to satisfy this course prerequisite.

Each applicant will be reviewed on an individual basis according to criteria established by the School of Business Administration and Graduate Admissions. Applicants who present satisfactory evidence of their ability to perform at the graduate level are admitted to the Innovation program.
