Wind Symphony Concert - November 4, 2022

Wind Symphony Concert

November 4, 2022 from 7:00 p.m.

The Wind Symphony will be featuring Dr. Bruce Curlette on Scott McAllister's exciting rhapsody for clarinet and winds, "Black Dog," inspired in part by the Led Zeppelin album of the same name. Additionally, the Wind Symphony will be giving their consortium premiere of Pulitzer Prize winning composer Julia Wolfe's new work for band, "Zigzag." Additionally, the Wind Symphony will be featuring three works by composer, and friend of the ensemble, Robert Nugent. Finally, we will be paying tribute to the history of the band repertoire with Vincent Persichetti's Symphony for Band. Come join us for this varied concert, which certainly has something for everyone! This event is free and open to the public.
