Mr. Kelly Byrd shared how early in life, he was careful not to do anything to tarnish the name of his father, who was a pastor. In high school, Kelly learned of a long-term affair his father had, and therefore had to resign his position as pastor. Kelly turned away from God, and lived his life as he pleased for several years. With the help of John MacArthur, he turned his life back around, and is now on the pastoral staff at Blackhawk Ministries in Indiana.
