One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Strength and Conditioning Camp

July 10 – 14, 2023

At Strength and Conditioning Camp, you will learn the basic concepts behind designing a safe and effective strength and conditioning program. Additionally, you will learn how to properly perform (and spot) all five of the compound lifts (e.g., bench press, overhead press, bent-over row, squat, deadlift) — as well as power cleans.  Additionally, you will be able to practice the concepts and lifting techniques taught in the classroom in Cedarville University's brand new, state-of-the-art varsity weight room!  You will also learn the importance of proper nutrition for optimizing sport performance by a licensed sports dietician.

Strength and Conditioning Camp is sponsored by the School of Allied Health and Psychology. Strength and Conditioning Camp is open to Christian students entering 10th through 12th grades, or incoming freshmen to Cedarville University, who are interested in majoring in exercise science.
