To help individuals interested in pursuing an MBA degree, christianuniversitiesonline.org announced the 50 best Christian online MBA programs for 2015. Mississippi College gained the top billing, but four Ohio institutions are ranked in the top 25.
Mount Vernon Nazarene University is the highest-ranked school in the Buckeye state at No. 12, followed closely by No. 13-rankedCedarville University. Malone University is ranked No. 16 and Ohio Christian University is No. 22.
Cedarville University was recognized for many factors, including its sixth-place ranking among Midwest universities according to U.S. News & World Report. Cedarville’s business program is accredited by ACBSP, and its MBA program is focused on helping working Christian professionals through a flexible, affordable option. Courses are taught in a student-friendly eight-week format, and the 36-credit hour program can be completed in 24 months.
Christianuniversitiesonline.org considered only accredited programs by either Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) or the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Programs with a full-time MBA program were identified and then ranked based on the number of MBA concentrations (20 percent), tuition cost (40 percent) and special business school accreditation (40 percent).
