David Peters

Biography

Dr. David Peters completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University. He completed a post-graduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency with a teaching certificate at UC Health – University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Peters enjoys implementing pharmacy-built orders into hospital electronic medical records to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Peters has been involved in research throughout his training with interest areas in stress and learning, infectious disease, and critical care. He maintains a clinical practice site at Miami Valley Hospital, where he specializes in neurocritical care and post-stroke management

It is thrilling to work alongside of pharmacy students as they learn how to practice pharmacy in the greater context of God’s mission for their lives. I love the challenges of optimizing medical care as well as the ministry opportunities that come with caring for severely-ill patients
