Biography

Dr. Jessica Geyer has been teaching at Cedarville since 2022. She acquired her PhD from the University of Dayton, where she taught labs ranging from introductory biology to microbiology. Dr. Geyer won multiple grants at the University of Dayton, such as the Graduate Student Summer Fellowship in 2018 and 2019, and participated in the STEM Catalyst Grant won by her lab in 2021. Additionally, Dr. Geyer has won the Graduate Teaching Award of Excellence for the Outstanding Teaching of Advanced Biology Laboratory Classes (2021) at the University of Dayton. Dr. Geyer focuses on antibiotic resistance and alternative treatments to antibiotics in infections.
