Success Strategies for CCP Students
College Credit Plus (CCP) guidelines require students to successfully complete courses in order to receive future CCP funding, and Cedarville offers a host of resources to help you succeed in dual-credit courses!
Academic Advising
CCP students communicate with a dual enrollment advisor each semester. Your advisor will help you choose and register for courses, keep you informed of important deadlines, and serve as your point of contact for any questions.
FREE Tutoring for Any Subject
The COVE academic enrichment center offers free virtual tutoring, disability accommodations, and online resources for every Cedarville student.
FREE Writing Consultations
The Writing Center offers free virtual writing consultations to help writers at all levels of proficiency develop effective writing skills in any stage of the writing process.
Library Assistance
The Centennial Library can assist you at any point in the research process. For assistance, schedule an appointment with the dual enrollment librarian.
College Credit Plus Performance and Eligibility
While most CCP students perform very well in their first academic courses, College Credit Plus may place students on CCP Probation or CCP Dismissal for the following reasons:
Withdrawing from two or more courses in same term
Failing a course
Having a cumulative GPA below 2.0 in college courses
Additional information can be found by visiting the College Credit Plus Underperforming Student Rule. The legislation for this update can be found by visiting the Ohio Administrative Code.
