If I were a CU student … I would take time to get to know my professors outside of the classroom, forming friendships and learning both the academics and life lessons from wise people. Additionally, I would try new things such as intramural sports or rock climbing or even learning a new language. Cedarville is a great place to step outside of your comfort zone and make new friends while trying various things.

What is the best restaurant in the area? Bibibop Asian Grill is a personal favorite! I have made so many fun memories with friends and family at Bibibop. It has delicious and healthy food options, as well as a fun atmosphere.

What sets Cedarville apart from other colleges and universities? Cedarville’s intentionality distinguishes the University from other schools! The love for Christ that is seen in chapel can be found throughout campus. It’s not uncommon to see friends praying for each other in the dining hall or studying the Bible together in the library. Students intentionally seek Christ on a personal level, as well as intentionally seeking to encourage friends through God’s Word.

Hometown? Kyiv, Ukraine

Degree? BA in international studies

Best place to visit around Cedarville? The southwest Ohio area has many hiking trails that are hidden gems. Hocking Hills, Clifton Gorge, and Possum Creek are some of my favorite trails. My ideal weekend would include grabbing coffee from a local coffee shop before hitting the trails, whether that’s hiking a familiar trail or exploring a new one!

Bucket list item? Live in Germany and learn the German language!
