Lightning is a hazard that must be viewed seriously. Everyone should immediately seek shelter any time lightning is seen.
Since the intramural fields across State Route 72 consist of metal fences and open areas, the only shelter would be in vehicles. Those who do not have a vehicle to climb into are strongly encouraged to find shelter across the road in one of the residence halls or in the Fitness Center in Callan Athletic Center.
Once the threat of lightning is over, play may resume.
