How It Works
The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy offers a unique program to students who are interested in studying pharmacy in a Christian learning environment at a top-ranked university.
There are three points of entry for students interested in applying to join our program:
- As an incoming freshman you will be a part of a seven year program that culminates in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Students who are a part of the seven year track will spend three years studying the pre-pharmacy curriculum and four years studying the professional curriculum. At the end of the seven years these students will have a Bible minor, a Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a PharmD. For more information visit the Freshman and Transfer Pharmacy Admissions page.
- Transfer students have studied full time at another university and desire to transfer to Cedarville University and study pharmacy. To officially be considered a transfer you must be a high school graduate and have enrolled in 12 or more college credits following graduation from high school. Transfer credit will be awarded by the Office of the Registrar after an official transcript has been received and evaluated. Transfer pharmacy students will transfer into the pre-pharmacy curriculum and will earn a Bible minor, a Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical Science, and a Pharm.D. For more information visit the Freshman and Transfer Pharmacy Admissions page.
- Cedarville University School of Pharmacy invites applications from graduates of accredited baccalaureate programs. Students that are accepted at this point will start their study with the four year professional curriculum that will culminate in the PharmD. Visit the Postbaccalaureate Pharmacy Admissions page to learn more.
