Meet the Program Director

Andrew Wiseman, Ph.D., directs the Semester in Spain program and serves as associate professor of Spanish at Cedarville University. As a Fulbright Scholar, he spent the spring and summer of 2004 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He also completed a one-year senior fellowship with the U.S. Department of State in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Dr. Wiseman studied at the Universidad de Sevilla and the Universidad Internacional SEK in Santiago, Chile as an undergraduate. His doctorate is in Foreign Language Education and International Program Administration from the Universidad de San José, Costa Rica. He lived in Spain before coming to Cedarville in the fall of 2000. Andrew, his wife, Sevara, and two year old daughter, Jasmine, enjoy international travel and languages.
