OSUNO Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship

The Ohio Nurses Association (ONA), local Ohio State University Nurses Organization (OSUNO) Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship was established by the Mid-Ohio District Nurses Association, to honor leadership in mentoring, education, volunteerism and advocacy on public health issues that drive commitment to the nursing profession. As the successor organization, OSUNO carries this commitment forward.
Criteria:
- Candidates must be students entering or enrolled in their first professional nursing (RN) education program.
- Candidates must be enrolled par or full-time in a nationally accredited Undergraduate Nursing Degree Program. All nursing programs must have accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). It must also have “Full Approval Status” by the Ohio Board of Nursing or the program’s respective state board of nursing.
- Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
- Candidates must be an active member of their student nursing organization, if one is available, or an active member of a campus student organization.
- Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.
