Note: This information is valid for new students entering Cedarville in 2026–27. View all items in the Federal Aid category.

The Federal Pell Grant is awarded to undergraduate students who have significant financial need as measured by their 2026-27 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and their calculated Student Aid Index (SAI).

For the 2026-27 School year, Pell Grant information will be available in February 2026 or soon after.

The annual awarded Pell Grant amount is determined by:

To be eligible for a Pell Grant, the student must meet all Pell Grant eligibility criteria and their FAFSA results must indicate one of the following:

  • Eligible for a Maximum Pell Grant
  • Eligible for a Calculated Pell Grant
  • Eligible for a Minimum Pell Grant

The annual Pell Grant amounts for the current 2025-26 school year are as follows for full-time TIV enrollment (12 or more credits which count toward degree completion):

  • Maximum Pell Grant: $7,395
  • Minimum Pell Grant: $740
  • The annual amount for all Pell Grants ranges is $740–$7,395.

While the Pell Grant is awarded for an annual amount, the actual term disbursement amount is determined by the student's TIV enrolled credits (courses which are required for degree completion) at the Term Census Date.

  • If TIV term credits are 12 or more, then the student will receive their full term amount.
  • If TIV term credits are below 12 (part-time), then the Pell Amount will be prorated based on the Term Pell Enrollment Intensity Calculation.
    • Example: Student has 9 TIV credits at Census
      • Term Pell Intensity Calculation is 75% (9/12)
      • The student's Term Pell Amount prorated to 75% of their original awarded term amount.
