President's Scholar Award

The President's Scholar Award is awarded to new residential freshmen students in recognition of their academic achievements.
For the 2026–27 academic year, this renewable scholarships ranges from $15,000 to $25,000 per year based on high school credentials. No separate application is required. Qualifying GPA or standardized test scores (not required) must be submitted by July 31.
Criteria:
This academic merit scholarship is awarded to new freshmen and transfers with the following terms and conditions:
- Full-time enrollment is required each term at census (12.0 credit hour minimum).
- Scholarship eligibility expires after eight semesters of attendance.
- Scholarship awarding is limited to fall and spring semesters only.
Scholarship renewal reviews are performed once each year at the conclusion of spring semester. The renewal criteria is the same for transfer students.
- If your Cedarville cumulative GPA is at or above 2.7, it will be renewed for the following academic year (as long as you still have eligible terms remaining).
- If your Cedarville cumulative GPA is below 2.7, it will not be renewed. However, students who lose their academic scholarship will be reviewed after summer term and fall semester. If at any time their Cedarville cumulative GPA is raised back to the required renewal GPA, the scholarship will be renewed for the remainder of that academic year.
