The Transfer President's Scholar Award is awarded to new residential transfer students in recognition of their transfer academic credentials.

For the 2027–28 academic year, these renewable scholarships range from $13,500 to $20,500 per year based on the combined cumulative grade point average from other colleges attended. No separate application is required. Qualifying GPA information from other colleges attended must be submitted by July 31.

Criteria:

This academic merit scholarship is awarded to new transfer students with the following terms and conditions:

  • Full-time enrollment is required each term at census (12.0 credit hour minimum).
  • Scholarship eligibility expires after eight semesters of attendance.
  • Scholarship awarding is limited to fall and spring semesters only.

Scholarship renewal reviews are performed once each year at the conclusion of spring semester and are based on the student's Cedarville Cumulative GPA. The renewal criteria is the same for both Freshmen and Transfer President's Scholar Awards.

  • If your Cedarville cumulative GPA is at or above 2.7, it will be renewed for the following academic year (as long as you still have eligible terms remaining).
  • If your Cedarville cumulative GPA is below 2.7, it will not be renewed. However, students who lose their academic scholarship will be reviewed after summer term and fall semester. If at any time their Cedarville cumulative GPA is raised back to 2.7 or higher, the scholarship will be renewed for the remainder of that academic year.

If your first term of enrollment was Fall 2020 or prior, please contact the financial aid office for renewal criteria.
