Walking with God — 3/11/2010
Dr. Jerry Bridges was the special guest for this year's Character Forum chapel. Dr. Bridges has been a long-time staff member with The Navigators, and has authored numerous books, including The Pursuit of Holiness, Respectable Sins: Confronting the Sins We Tolerate, and Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts. In his message, Dr. Bridges uses Genesis 5 as his text. He brings to our attention the description of Enoch in the genealogies--Enoch both walked with God and pleased God. Dr. Bridges explained that these two ideas are inseparable. He then went on to show what a daily walk with God might look like in the life of the believer.
