AICPA Accountemps Student Scholarship

The AICPA Foundation Scholarship for Future CPAs is part of the AICPA Legacy Scholars program. Students interested in being considered for more than one AICPA Legacy Scholarship need to complete only one application — applicants will be evaluated for all awards for which they are eligible in the program.
 

This scholarship program provides scholarship assistance to students who are majoring in accounting, finance, or information systems.

Criteria:

  • Students interested in pursuing the CPA license after graduation regardless of gender, ethnicity or educational path.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate-level degree in accounting or an accounting-related major. 
  • Planning to pursue the CPA licensure but not presently a CPA.
  • Attending a public or private, not-for-profit (501 c3) four-year college or university in the U.S. or territories for the full academic year.
  • Completed at least 30 semester hours of college coursework, including at least 6 semester hours in accounting.
  • Maintaining an overall and major GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder).
  • Enrolled in an accredited business and/or accounting program. 
  • Note: AICPA, CIMA and their family members are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
