Cedarville Financial Aid Notifications and Your FAFSA

Thursday, January 20, 2022

FAFSA logoLast week, we began sending financial aid packages to students who have been accepted for the fall 2022 semester and have submitted their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you have not already done so, please complete your FAFSA to ensure that your student will receive as much financial aid as possible and be among the first to receive a financial aid package.

Remember, the FAFSA is used to consider you for not only government forms of aid, but also for all need-based scholarships from Cedarville. Many students who do not receive federal or state grants DO qualify for Cedarville scholarships or subsidized government loans.

Once we receive your FAFSA, we will prepare your student's personalized financial aid award. Very shortly thereafter, we will send you a financial aid prospectus, which will outline all of the scholarships, grants, work study, and loan opportunities available to your student.

Visit our Financial Aid website for the most up-to-date information about financial aid at Cedarville.

Announcing Increased Scholarships for Fall 2022 Freshmen!

Tuesday, November 9, 2021

At Cedarville University, we are doing everything we can to make our academically excellent, Christ-focused education affordable for families. We recently announced increased scholarships for incoming freshmen for fall 2022, and we wanted to be sure you were among the first to hear the news.

The President's Scholar Award ranges from $10,000 to $20,000, based on high school academic credentials. Due to limited availability of standardized testing during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cedarville will not require an ACT, SAT, or CLT test score as a requirement for scholarship consideration (or for admission) for students entering any term through spring 2023.

The President's Scholar Award is renewable for all four years assuming the academic renewal criteria are met each year. These generous scholarships can be combined with other Cedarville or outside scholarships, as well as need-based aid.

A Cedarville education is one of the best investments your student will ever make, and we are serious about making it affordable for your family.

P.S. If your student has not yet applied for admission, now is the time! It is FREE to apply through November 15, and all applicants who meet that deadline will also receive a Cedarville Yellow Jackets T-shirt.
