Celebrating Record Enrollment, God's Working in Students' Lives!
Tuesday, September 8, 2020
The 2020–21 academic year is off to a great start! More than 1,000 freshmen and transfer students participated in Getting Started Weekend August 14–16, kicking off the academic year and their Cedarville experience (with plenty of COVID protocols in place!). Cedarville now has 4,550 undergraduate, graduate, and Dual Enrollment (high school dual enrollment) students — our largest enrollment ever. Even in the middle of a pandemic, God has blessed us with record enrollment.
As with every year, Cedarville started the semester with the Fall Bible Conference. This year we welcomed Nathan Lino, Senior Pastor of Northeast Houston Baptist Church, as the conference speaker. Lino spoke from the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, challenging our students to live their lives for Jesus Christ. God is already working in our students' lives, with many making decisions for Christ during the conference! What a great way to start the year! (To watch any of the conference sessions — all held outdoors, physically distanced and masks on — visit our chapel archive.)
Giving students the opportunity to sit under the teaching of nationally recognized Bible speakers, as well as challenging them with highly regarded academic programs, sets Cedarville University apart! As you guide your student through the college search process, discuss the importance of higher education with a biblical worldview and how it can impact them. Visit us to see the difference a rigorous academic program delivered in an authentic Christian community can make.
