Consider the Early Start June Term for Freshmen
Tuesday, March 21, 2023
Students who plan to enroll as freshmen this fall can join other incoming new students for our Early Start June term from June 10-24, 2023. During this two-week residential experience, students will take one general education course while they meet new friends and get to know campus better.
They can choose from the following general education courses:
- The Bible and the Gospel (the first Bible minor course)
- Essentials of Economics
- Politics and American Culture
- U.S. History Since 1877
- General Psychology
Students will get a taste of Cedarville academics, but in a more relaxed environment and at a significant cost savings. Getting a gen ed course out of the way now will allow them to take lighter loads later, when they need it most. For credit-dense majors like nursing and engineering, this opportunity is particularly valuable, but all students will benefit from the chance to acclimate to campus, meet faculty and staff, and make new friends before they start in the fall.
The cost for Early Start is just $1,125, which includes housing and meals, activities, and tuition for the 3-credit hour course (which is discounted by 80%). The registration deadline is May 1, but space is limited to the first 75 incoming freshmen who register, so don’t delay!
If you have a high school rising junior or senior, they can participate in Summer Scholars, our two-week residential summer program for high school students June 10-24. Students will take a 3-credit course while getting a taste of college life and participating in fun campus activities.
