Chapel Communications Assistant

The Chapel Communications Assistant aids the social media manager in coordinating chapel event communications, managing livestreams across multiple platforms, crafting social media captions, engaging with live stream viewers, transcribing and sharing quotes, creating Instagram stories from a student perspective, and preparing chapel summaries for design and dissemination. Qualifications include: strong writing skills, ability to work well under tight deadlines, working knowledge of Instagram Stories, and good attention to detail. This position will work 9:30–11 a.m. or 10-12 a.m. two-three days a week.

Student must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Experience with Adobe design software preferred.

Strategic Communications Assistant

This role seeks to assist the University with their overall marketing efforts by creating, optimizing, and distributing content on social media, the University website, and through email. Key responsibilities include: attending events on campus to capture live social media content as assigned; assisting with writing, planning, and scheduling social media content; researching social media trends and hashtags; editing photos; and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: strong writing skills and attention to detail; the ability to work independently and problem solve; and working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. Experience in graphic design, photography, and social media management is beneficial, but not required.
