Traveling on I-70 to Campus?

Tuesday, August 9, 2022

Cedarville University's signDue to bridge construction on Rt. 72 that is causing significant traffic delays, we suggest the following alternate routes to campus:

  • From the east on I-70: exit at Hwy. 54 and come through South Charleston / Rt. 42
  • From the west on I-70: take I-75 S into Dayton, then Rt. 35/Rt. 42 into Cedarville
  • From the west, coming from Rt. 68: come into Cedarville from Xenia

None of these alternate routes would add significant time, and they may reduce stress as you bring your Yellow Jacket to campus.

Sending Packages Prior to Getting Started

Tuesday, July 26, 2022

Important NoticeMany parents choose to send items for their student's residence hall room directly to campus so it is waiting for them when they arrive for Getting Started Weekend. If you will be sending packages to campus before your student arrives, please note the following requests from Postal Services:

  • Plan to ship items for an August 1 or later arrival date
  • For returning students, use your student's complete name — including full middle name — and campus box number on all items
  • For freshmen or transferring students, use your student's complete name — including full middle name — and include "New Student" on all items

Thank you for helping the post office stay organized at this busy time of year.

End-of-Year Information

Tuesday, April 19, 2022

Founders Hall in the SpringIt’s hard to believe, but the academic year is coming to a close in just a few weeks. We’ll be praying along with you as your student takes final exams and prepares to head home for the summer (or wherever God is taking them!). As you make plans for picking up your student, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • The last contract meal for the semester is dinner on Friday, May 6.
  • Students must be out of the residence halls by Saturday, May 7, at 5 p.m. (8 p.m. for graduating seniors).
  • Students are able to leave before Saturday if their exam schedule allows. They will receive more detailed move-out instructions from their RD.
  • Parking will be at a premium Saturday due to two commencement ceremonies (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.). If you plan to pick up your student on Saturday, you may want to come very early.

If your student will be graduating, thank you for letting us invest in his or her 1,000 days at Cedarville. It has been our pleasure to serve your family!
